Dr. Iannelli attended medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and went on to complete an internship and residency at Children's Medical Center in Dallas.
Although he very much enjoys caring for the kids in his private Pediatrics practice in Rowlett, Texas, especially watching them grow up, start school, and go off to college, early on he discovered his special interest in parenting education. This lead him to develop the websites keepkidshealthy.com and pediatrics.about.com.
The Father's First Year site is Dr. Iannelli's first site dedicated to fatherhood.
Dr. Iannelli has also written The Everything® Father's First Year Book, to be released early next year and he is the medical editor for The Everything Parenting an Overweight Child book.
In addition to serving as an associate professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center, he is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society.
Dr. Iannelli lives with his wife, 6 1/2 year old step-son and toddler twins near Dallas.
