Father's First Year

Chapter 9: Normal Baby Stuff
Author: Vincent Iannelli, M.D.

Many of the things that your baby does, and which you might worry about, can be normal.

This includes things like:

  • spitting up
  • having gas
  • having frequent hiccups
  • crying
  • changes in bowel movements
  • growing at the bottom or top of the growth charts
  • being 'delayed' in picking up milestones as compared to other infants you know

In chapter 9 of The Everything® Father's First Year Book, you will learn about these 'normal' things and about common medical 'problems,' like cradle cap, umbilical hernias, and blocked tear ducts, which are often considered to be normal because they don't cause big problems and often go away on their own.

And learn how to predict your child's future height.
